We produce yarn from our own herd of alpacas in the heart of the English countryside. This yarn is 4ply soft grey alpaca with 10% tussah silk, 1% angora from our own rabbits.

Also called Fingering or sock weight. 50g skeins 180 Yards (approx)

Alpaca is as soft as cashmere and warmer then wool, it is also hypoallergenic I use only natural and plant dyes, these are sustainable and produce beautiful colours as well as keeping alive the ancient art of natural dyeing.

We are a small family run business with a herd of 45 alpacas. We hand select the finest quality fibre which is sent to the mill. I dye all our yarn by hand using natural dyes.

The nature of the natural dyes and the screen resolution mean that the picture colours are only a close representation. I can’t guarantee exact colour matches as there are many factors which affect the final colour.
