A nostapini is a traditional wool winding stick enabling you to produce a lovely centre pull ball. Nostapini is a Scandinavian word thought to have originated with the vikings.
These wool winding tools are used around the world and found in all cultures. It is such a simple idea, so small and handy, I always have one with me in my project bag.
These are made by a talented local wood Turner called Mike Macey. Each one hand made and unique.
